Members of the Antelope Valley Lions Club provide for the following giving programs through their fund raising efforts. When possible, personal involvement is also given. We give to:

• Paying for eye exams and glasses for needy children and adults.
• Supporting adult day care for those with Alzheimer's.
• Supporting high school students.
• Supporting the training of canine companions.
• Sponsoring hearing tests and hearing aids.
• Sponsoring specialized eye testing and surgery.
• Supporting homeless through food programs.
• Supporting drug rehabilitation.
• Sponsoring needy children to summer camp.

Members of the Antelope Valley Lions Club give their time and effort on the following:

• Providing eye examinations and eye glasses.
• Providing hearing testing and hearing aids.
• Sponsors local elementary students into the International Peace Poster Contest.
• Conducts a Club contest and sponsors the winner into the 4C4 Students Speaker Contest. See photos of the contest
• Collects used eye glasses that are tested and redistributed to the needy.
